Welcome to this week's edition of the EdTechTalk (ETT) Weekly Newsletter - the
first issue of the new year! Many shows were on haitus and have
recently returned to their regular show times. Be sure to listen to
recently posted podcastings of ETT's weekly shows so you don't miss any
of the exciting discussions and ETT events!

With the start of the new year, many of us created personal and professional new year's
resolutions. If you missed the Conversations show last week featuring
ETT show hosts Lisa Parisi and Maria Knee, joined by Dave Cormier,
discussing resolutions and goals for 2009 be sure to listen to the
recording. Very inspiring and motivating! If learning something new was
a new year's resolution as shared by Maria Knee, be sure listen to the

showcasing some awesome tech resources. 'Seedlings' show hosts welcomed
Maine educators Dan and Jeff from 'Wicked Decent Learning' to discuss

EdTechTalk is a community of people interested in the use of technology to improve
teaching and learning at all levels of education throughout the world.
As a Worldbridges community, it embraces the values of collaboration
and inclusiveness. The primary activity of the community is the
production of a number of live, interactive webcasts. These programs
cover a wide range of topics relating to educational technology. Shows
are typically streamed live, and listeners can interact with one
another and the show hosts through a text chat. Recordings of the shows
are released as podcasts. Participation in the community is encouraged
for anyone who has an interest in educational technology. Participation
may take many forms, from simply listening to shows produced by the
community to more actively working to produce and distribute content
for the network.
