EdTechBrainstorm.2008.01.03

This week we had some "audio issues" and I wasn't able to add other voices to the conversation. Thanks to all the "usual suspects" in the chatroom for the back channel for the show.

Thanks, again, to Derek K. Miller of Penmachine for the use of his tunes during the 'cast.

This week, we again talk about Twitter and Facebook as well as Pageflakes and NetVibes.

Also talk about a couple of "366" projects underway -- that being undertaken by Dave Cormier using video, and one initiated by D'Arcy Norman with still photos on Flickr.

Also heard from Cheryl Oakes, an avid EdTechTalker/skier, who pointed us to some pictures that she has posted on Flickr.

Also made a reference to a screencast that Jon Udell did a couple of years ago regarding the development/evolution of the term "heavy metal umlaut" at wikipedia. Thanks to all who participated.

NOTE: I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with both NetVibes and Pageflakes and how they compare/contrast.
