19:00:08 dave -> http://edfutures.com/forumpost/what-could-peer-evaluation-form-and-portf...

19:00:21 PeggyG -> hi all!

19:00:45 PeggyG -> audio is a bit echoey for me tonight--not sure why??

19:02:24 SusanEttenheim -> hi all

19:02:26 PeggyG -> interesting observation that someone can't take the course because there's no accreditation--is that just personal priority for earning a degree?

19:02:32 SusanEttenheim -> is the stream on a or b?

19:02:35 PeggyG -> !

19:02:38 PeggyG -> A

19:02:45 SusanEttenheim -> thanks peggy

19:02:45 alicemercer -> It doesn't count for credential

19:02:52 alicemercer -> in States

19:03:28 PeggyG -> I understood that--just wondering why the person said couldn't take the course. Guess no time for learning that isn't accredited???

19:04:22 PeggyG -> Hi Kim :-)

19:04:25 SusanEttenheim -> oops not good in car... will catch later as podcast..

19:04:28 kcaise -> hi everyone!

19:04:32 alicemercer -> I would do it on my own, but I wouldn't be crazy about paying for something I'm not getting credit for but....

19:05:08 PeggyG -> good point--paying and not getting credit for it--guess that's sort of like going to a conference like ISTE :-)

19:05:10 alicemercer -> If it's nominal, there is a way to get PD type stuff count for salary credit, so that could be worth like $50 to me, but not $250

19:05:25 alicemercer -> But I will say...

19:05:43 alicemercer -> I was allowed to appeal and extension of my credential for teaching in lab

19:06:05 alicemercer -> because I could document 90 hours of PD in the year based on ISTE, CUE, It's Elementary, etc.

19:06:16 alicemercer -> NOT IN CALIFORNI!

19:06:23 alicemercer -> No more requirements for renewal

19:06:41 alicemercer -> And there IS a way to improve salary

19:07:01 alicemercer -> BUT, they will not credit stuff without either seat time, or university credit...

19:07:49 alicemercer -> It would be worth money, just not as much as an accredited course because it doesn't translate into as many hours on salary scale

19:07:51 PeggyG -> Hi Jackie

19:08:06 alicemercer -> So how much ya chargin?

19:08:10 alicemercer -> Hi all!
